Boundaries with Teens Parents face many different issues and struggles in their efforts to parent teens, Dr. John Townsend understands this, having parented teens himself. Through years of clinical counseling, study of adolescent development, biblical principles of growth, and personal experience Dr. Townsend has compiled his observations and tips to help you navigate the teen years and with proper application come out with healthy young adults.

 

The book is comprised of four parts, Part one focuses on your personal boundaries, Part Two focuses on the mind and world of the adolescent, Part Three shows how to set healthy boundaries with your teens, and Part Four explores some specific problems that adolescents struggle with and offers tips for parents on how to deal with them.

 

This is a great read for parents of teens, or pre-teens. Currently we have a Sunday School class discussing the book Sunday 11:00am room 103.
